Somerset Division One: Combe St Nicholas 1-4 Nailsea & Tickenham Res

COMBE St Nicholas FC were defeated at home by Nailsea & Tickenham Reserves at the weekend.

The match in the Uhlsport Somerset County Division One ended 1-4 in favour of the visitors as Combe struggled to get going.

Coming into the match it was clear it would be a tough game looking at the form table and that was evident throughout the ninety minutes.

The result leaves Combe in 13th place in the league table while Nailsea move up to fifth.

In the match, Charlie Hine was shown a red card which made things difficult for Combe and they also had two other yellow cards.

Kieran Wilmington scored the sole goal for Combe while Jack Godfrey scored two for Nailsea and Brandon Hurst and Patrick Riddell scored one.

All in all a disappointing defeat for Combe St Nicholas who were outplayed, largely due to the man deficit, but regardless a tough loss.
