Somerset Division One: Saltford First 5-0 Combe St Nicholas
COMBE St Nicholas were beaten 5-0 away from home at the weekend against Saltford in their match in the Uhlsport Somerset County Division One.
Last time out Combe defeated Saltford at home but were unable to keep that going in the reverse fixture.
It was a difficult battle as Saltford were able to control proceedings for large parts of the ninety minutes.
Combe now sit in thirteenth place after 17 games played having won three, drawn one and lost 13 for a total of 10 league points. They have a goal difference of -56.
It also means they are still in the relegation zone after a difficult first half of the season.
They will look for a quick bounce back when they take on Minehead AFC away from home on Saturday, January 27 at 3pm.
A tough game can be expected out of Minehead who are in eighth place and have been able to find the back of the net on a regular basis of late.
