CLUBS: Donyatt Social Club present £2,600 charity cheques
AT ITS regular fortnightly whist drive, Donyatt Social Club presented cheques totalling £2,600 to its two chosen charities.
Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance and Breast Cancer Care each received £1,300 from members of the committee and whist players. The money was raised over the past year through various social events including the whist drives.
Club chairman John Grabham and treasurer Susan Fish were joined by Breast Cancer Care representatives Anne and Jim Hine, and Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance representative Sue Allwood.
