A BLACK tie ball will raise funds for two good causes in South Petherton.

Angie Blackwell, from award-winning Cottage Flowers in Ilminster, is organising the May Black Tie Ball at the Old Bridge Wedding Venue which will take place on Saturday, May 18.

Angie and the team behind the town’s highly successful fundraising in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support, are organising this event in aid of Macmillan and CLIC Sargent.

Chard & Ilminster News:

Announcing the fundraising, Angie said: “The Old Bridge is a fabulous place to hold a May Ball as well as weddings.

“With the support of the Blake family at Old Bridge and other local businesses we’re able to offer individuals and companies the chance to join us for a great night out with a three-course meal and dancing to a 10-piece live band for the incredible price of just 55 per ticket.

“Several organisations have already committed to help boost our fundraising for these two great cancer charities by taking tables of 10, but whether you’re a large group or a couple, we promise you a great night out.”
