A ROAD in Crewkerne will be closed for three days next week while highways workers carry out repairs.
Somerset Council's highways teams are resurfacing a section of Station Road.
Work is due to start on Monday (August 14) and will last for three days until Wednesday (August 16).
The road will be closed between 9.30am and 3.30pm on all three days to allow the work to be completed.
Access for residents and businesses in the immediate area will be maintained throughout and a diversion will be in place.
Cllr Mike Rigby, Somerset Council’s executive lead member for transport and digital, said: “This section of Station Road is in need of repair.
“Doing the work in the summer holidays under a daytime closure gives us the best chance of completing this work safely and efficiently, but please plan ahead as there could be short-term disruption.”
