A BIKE has been seized after it was found abandoned in a field following residents' reports of anti-social driving.
Police found a green pit bike near Thorndun Park Drive yesterday (Wednesday, April 10) after residents in Chard reported it was being driven in an anti-social manner.
The bike has no insurance, tax, or, MOT, and it was seized and crushed, Avon and Somerset Police said.
A spokesperson said: “Officers from Chard Neighbourhood team have responded to a call in regards to a green pit bike being driven around Chard this evening in an anti-social manner.
“Officers have located the bike, abandoned in a field close to Thorndun Park Drive.
“Due to the bike not having any insurance, tax, or MOT it has been seized and will now be crushed.
“We urge members of the public to report any sightings of vehicles being used in an anti-social via 999.”
