THE Somerset Cricket Foundation will be running Girls Only Cricket Camps throughout the winter with one taking place in Chard.
A message on the Cricket Foundation website says: “We will be running Girls Hubs again throughout the winter and details about this session will be released in September.
“These camps are designed for girls who are not in the Somerset County Pathway, enabling girls with additional opportunities to develop hardball cricket skills throughout the winter.
“The 8/10 week programmes will support girls with key aspects of the game.”
This is when the Chard hubs will take place at Holyrood School for U11s and U13s: (Post Christmas) Wednesday 17th, 24th, 31st Jan, 7th, 21st, 28th Feb, 6th, 13th, 20th, 27th March (U11s and U13s 6:15 – 7:45)
