Dry weather with sunny spells is set for Chard today, although it does not look set to last.
The Met Office are predicting a less than 5% chance of rain across the Chard and Ilminster area, with a maximum teperaure of 18°C.
In a statement on the Met Office website, it said: "A generally dry day with some decent sunny spells for all and a cool northerly breeze. The odd isolated shower is possible, these mainly along northern coasts and over higher ground."
However, on Wednesday this dry patch may not last.
"A good deal of dry and bright weather throughout, though the odd shower is possible," the Met Office have said. "A cool northerly wind will bring some chilly nights, but feeling pleasant in any sunshine."
There is a 40% chance of rain from 3pm until 8pm.
