ONCE again Chard and Ilminster are set for a day of sun, clouds and scattered showers.

The good news is that the Met Office no longer has a yellow weather warning in place for Somerset.

The weather news from the Met Office site said: "It will be a bright and breezy day with the strongest winds felt along the coast. Through the course of the day sunny spells will be interrupted by the development of scattered showers, these most frequent through the afternoon."

The maximum temperature for the day is due to be 18°C, a 2°C drop on yesterday.
